PRESIDENT, PRESIDENT: I now give a few words on behalf of the Tianjin Municipal Revolutionary Division. Before the meeting, we had carefully discussed the annual report of the people’s government of Tianjin in 1950 and the previous day we discussed the opening remarks of the Mayor of Yellow. When we discussed the rainy days, we felt I am very excited to think that the work of Tianjin over the past year has achieved brilliant achievements. The coming year, 1951, will surely have even more brilliant achievements. First of all, we think that because of the barbarous aggressive war by the Japanese imperialists and the Chiang Kai-shek’s gangs of colluding with the anti-people civil war launched by the U.S. imperialism, we have caused vicious inflation and frenzied price soar that the entire national economy is on the verge of Bankruptcy, the vast
