本期发表了两篇实验文章。其中第一篇是关于木材在红外烘干过程中温度的分布。文章的结论是,当选用适当波长的红外辐射进行加热时,木材内层温度可以高于表层温度,即木材内部可以形成所谓“正热源”。这一结论与上一期发表的“‘远红外干燥木材’质疑”一文恰成对照。我们认为,搞清木材内部能不能形成“正热源”,对于认识木材的红外烘干机理十分重要。而要搞清这个问题,首先必须掌握足够的第一手资料。我们建议读者多做一些实验,多作一些分析,不论是自己设计实验,还是验证别人的实验,只要用科学的方法实事求是地做出有价值的结果,我们都可予以发表。本期发表的第二篇文章是关于木材烘干方法的一种试探。它表明,木材的红外烘干还有不少工作可做。发表这篇文章也说明了,我们的专题讨论不仅着眼于提高理性认识,而且也鼓励那些热心于推进应用的人们发表自己的新经验、新思想。
This issue has published two experimental articles. The first of these is about the temperature distribution of wood during infrared drying. The article concludes that the temperature of the inner layer of wood may be higher than that of the surface layer when heated with infrared radiation of appropriate wavelength, that is, so-called “positive heat source” can be formed inside the wood. This conclusion is in contrast with the article “Questioning Far-Infrared Dry Wood” issued in the previous issue. In our opinion, it is very important to find out if the interior of wood can form a “positive heat source” to understand the infrared drying mechanism of wood. To understand this issue, we must first grasp enough first-hand information. We suggest that readers do more experiments and make more analyzes. Whether designing experiments on their own or verifying the experiments of others, we can all publish as long as we can make valuable and scientific results in a scientific way. The second article in this issue is a test of the wood drying method. It shows that there is still much work to be done in infrared drying of wood. The publication of this article also shows that our panel discussion not only focuses on raising rational awareness, but also encourages those who are passionate about promoting their applications to express their new experiences and ideas.
