People communicate with each other through two channels,verbal communication and nonverbal communication. Body language is one of important nonverbal communication that teachers use in English teaching at secondary vocational school. It can evoke students’ interest and make teaching simpler. Moreover,it can establish a good relationship between teachers and students. Thus,body language plays an crucial role in English teaching. So this paper makes a study of body language from the English teaching application perspective.
