棉铃虫是我县农作物的主要害虫之一。危害作物种类繁多,近郊菜区以危害蕃茄为主, 南郊以危害油料作物胡麻为主。过去多年以来一直利用化学药剂防治,棉铃虫抗药性增强, 造成用药次数增加、用药浓度加大,同时对周围环境污染严重,迫切需要探索防治棉铃虫的 新途径,为此,1979年我所在自治区植保站和八一农学院的大力协助下,开展了利用松毛虫 赤眼蜂防治蕃茄棉铃虫的大面积试验,取得了较好的效果。1979年防治面积234亩,今年达 1470亩,其中包括南郊两个公社(板房沟公社、永丰公社),胡麻防治面积140亩。
Cotton bollworm is one of the major pests in our county’s crops. Endangered crops a wide range of vegetables in the suburbs to endanger the tomato-based, southern suburbs of the flammable oil-based crops. Over the past years, chemical pesticides have been used to control cotton bollworm resistance, resulting in increased drug usage, drug concentration increased, while the surrounding environment is seriously polluted, there is an urgent need to explore new ways to control cotton bollworm, for which, in 1979, Plant Protection Station and Bayi Agricultural College, with the great help, carry out the use of Trichogramma trichogramma control bollworm large area test, and achieved good results. Control area of 234 mu in 1979, up to 1470 acres this year, including two communes in the southern suburbs (Banfanggou commune, Yongfeng commune), flax control area of 140 acres.
