我国地震观测系统的更新和改造在七·五计划期间要有一个较大的发展,要有飞跃性的变化。这一变化的重要标志,将使计算机、自动控制等新技术在地震观测系统和资料处理过程中到得广泛的应用。在规划发展并组织实施的进程中,非常值得注意的是要时时考虑到我国的国情、我国地震观测的能力以及地震科研的基础条件,要从实际出发,循序渐进,逐步达到目的。本文拟就在现有台站基础上如何逐步更新改造并进行现代化建设为议题,作几点讨论。
