剪纸艺术是我国最具群众基础的民间工艺形式之一,它充满着浓郁的民族艺术气息,是一种精巧的民间手工艺。豫西剪纸艺术具有造型夸张概括、刀法简练质朴、生活气息浓郁、装饰与实用并存的艺术风格,在我国民间传统艺术研究中具有很高的艺术价值、学术价值、和使用价值。针对濒临失传的这一古老艺术,如何传承发展是我们面临的一项紧迫的任务。
Paper-cut art is one of the most popular folk craft forms in our country. It is full of rich national artistry and is a delicate folk handicraft. The art of paper-cut in western Henan has the characteristics of exaggeration of style, concise and simple knife method, strong flavor of life, decorative and practical coexistence, and has high artistic value, academic value and use value in the study of Chinese traditional folk art. In view of this ancient art which is on the verge of losing, how to inherit and develop is an urgent task for us.
