我校紧靠南京东郊风景区。几年来,我们在中山植物园、晓庄师范等单位的大力支持下,通过多种形式开展以生物科学为主的科技活动,初步形成了学校特色。促进了学生生动活泼全面发展。一、举办科普月我们已经连续五年在每年秋季举办科普月,确定了“科普活动以班组为主”的方针,在科普月中要求学生“读一本科普书、讲一个科普故事、做一个生物小标本或科技小制作、参观一次科普展览、听一次科普讲座”。近三年中,同学们直接聆听过植物学家陶金川、植保专家夏宝池,鸟类学家周世锷以及晓庄师范老师十多次科技讲座。这些专家、老师当评委,参与学生科技知识竞赛。各班还创造了用文艺形式宣传科技的经验。
