十六国北朝时,河北是中国金铜佛像制作中心,然而重要造像大半流失海外。其中建武四年造像、哈佛藏燃肩佛坐像等早期金铜佛坐像,体现出佛像从携入汉地,到由本土工匠加工改造的历史图景。仅见于河北饶阳的“二佛并立”式释迦多宝像,具有鲜明的民间特质;一系列北朝金铜佛立像,构成了一个独立演进的主题系列;此外三件精美的隋阿弥陀佛整铺造像,既是中国金铜佛像的顶峰之作,同时也是净土信仰流行的重要实物证据。
During the period of the Sixth Kingdoms and the Northern Dynasties, Hebei was the center of production of Chinese bronze Buddha statues, yet most of the important statues were lost abroad. Among them, the four-year statues of Jianwu and the early golden bronze statues of Buddhas such as Harvard Tibetan Burning Shoulders Buddha represent the images of Buddhism from the Han Dynasty to the historical picture of local craftsmen’s transformation. Only seen in Raoyang, Hebei “Buddha ” style of Buddha statue, with distinctive folk characteristics; a series of Northern Dynasties statue of gold and copper Buddha, constitutes an independent evolution of the theme series; addition of three beautiful Sui Amitabha The whole statue is not only the pinnacle of the Chinese golden bronze statues, but also an important physical evidence of the prevalence of the Pure Land beliefs.
