随着智能电网的发展,国家电网公司全面推广应用了智能电表和用电信息采集系统,极大地提高了计量的准确度和对用户用电信息的及时掌握。使智能电网用户终端智能化、自动化得到了很大的提升;避免了人工抄表产生的各种弊端为电力用户提供了更加方便自如,安全可靠的用电方式。为了更好地加强管理、服务社会,努力完成国家电网公司对智能电表和用电信息采集系统提出的“全覆盖、全采集、全费控”的总体要求,需要建设更加可靠的智能电表信息采集系统。以塑料光纤作为媒介的信息传输系统,具有采集数据成功率高、实时性强、容量大、成本低和无须熔接等优势,将给电力信息传输系统带来新技术革命,使智能电网通信体系以及通信设备得到革新和升级。
