无缝钢管冷拔模、冷拔顶头采用固体粉末渗硼工艺,可以显著提高其使用寿命。实践证明,获得双相渗硼层的冷拔模具,在使用中由于受冲击负荷较小,主要承受滑动摩擦所产生的摩擦力,故未出现渗层剥落现象,显示出很高的耐磨性。顶头渗硼不仅提高了使用寿命,而且由于省掉了镀铬工序,可消除工业污染。利用渗硼强化工、模具,其母材可用碳钢代替原来昂贵的高合伞钢,具有节省贵重金属的重大经济意义。
