新时期以来,伴随着时代精神、社会生活的变迁,文学艺术也不断在发生着新的变化。文艺学正是在对现时代文学艺术变化和文学理论自身的双重反思基础上不断发展的。近些年来,文学创作日益呈现出边缘化和多样化的局面,而文学理论则在各种西方理论思潮的影响下不断“越界”、“扩容”。如何认识文学创作在人类精神文化生产中的地位和作用,如何确认文艺学研究的核心价值及其问题成了当务之急。有鉴于此,2005年10月在中南大学举行的“新时期文学理论回顾与展望”研讨会上,三位长期从事文艺学研究的理论研究者从不同角度审视了中国当代文艺学的历史、现状及存在的问题,特别结合自己从事文艺学研究和参与文学理论重大问题讨论的情况提出了自己的看法。

In recent years, literary creations have been increasingly marginalized and diversified, while literary theories have continuously “crossed the border” and “dilated” under the influence of various Western theoretical currents of thought. How to recognize the position and function of literary creation in the production of human spirit and culture and how to confirm the core value of literary and art research and its problems has become a top priority. In view of this, at the symposium held in Central South University in October 2005 at the “Review and Prospect of Literary Theory in the New Period,” three historians engaged in the study of literature and art conducted a review of the history and current situation of contemporary Chinese literature and art from different angles And their existing problems, put forward their own views especially in connection with their own discussions on the major issues of literary theory and literary theory.
