甘蓝是市郊主要栽培的蔬菜种类之一,常年栽培面积5～6万亩,其中秋冬甘蓝约2万多亩。因此,选育耐寒性强、高产优质的晚熟甘蓝品种,对缓和本市冬季蔬菜供应紧张状况有重要的价值。上海市农科院园艺所利用本所选育的“北杨”和“郊赛”两个自交不亲和系配制成的杂种一代甘蓝“黑叶型北杨×郊赛”和“皱叶型北杨×郊赛”两个优良品种,具有耐寒性较强,结球坚实,适应性广,丰产性好等优点。“皱叶型”属中熟品种,生育期100～110天,开展度较小,叶片较短,色绿,叶缘多皱折,适于一般秋季栽培,年内上市供应。“黑叶型”属中晚熟品种,生育期120天以上,开展度较
