游艇的定义、类型与配置游艇是指一种用帆或电力驱动的小型船只,通常造型精巧,线条流畅,用以娱乐的巡游或比赛。广义上,游艇是休闲船舶的统称,包括海钓船、帆船、摩托艇、快艇、休闲游艇、巡航游艇以及豪华游艇等。在国际上,通常长度在10米以上、价格在10多万美元以上的才能被标为 yacht(游艇),而这之下的只能被叫作boat(小艇)或 ship(船)。它集航海、运动、娱乐、休闲等功能于一体,主要满足个人或家庭进行娱乐和运动的需要。游艇类型,按尺寸分类(依国际标准,游艇的规格以英尺计算),36英尺以下为小型游艇、36-60英尺为中型游艇、60英尺以上为大型豪华游艇。
