崇明县三烈中学,因纪念所在地龚氏三兄弟分别在抗日战争和解放战争中为国捐躯而命名,创办于1958年,是一所农村普通完中。占地56余亩,有30个教学班,1500多名学生,112名教职工,其中中高级职称教师占教师总人数的70%,上海市特级教师1名,崇明县学科带头人2名。历经四十多年的锤炼,三烈中学形成了“求实、创新、和谐、发展”的校风,在岛内外享有较高声誉。目前是上海市农口系统文明单位、上海市科技教育特色学校、上海市绿色学校、上海市绿化先进集体、上海市无吸烟学校、上海市素质教育实验学校、上海市课程教材改革研究基地。
Chongming County Sanli Middle School was named after the three brothers of Gong’s memorial in the Anti-Japanese War and Liberation War. It was founded in 1958 and is a rural common finish. It covers an area of more than 56 acres and consists of 30 classes, more than 1,500 students, and 112 faculty and staff, including 70% of the total number of teachers in senior titles, 1 special-grade teacher in Shanghai, and 2 academic leaders in Chongming County. After more than forty years of hard work, Sanli Middle School has developed a ethos of “realism, innovation, harmony, and development” and enjoys a high reputation both inside and outside the island. At present, it is a civilized unit of the Shanghai Farming System, a school specializing in science and technology education in Shanghai, a green school in Shanghai, an advanced group in Shanghai, a non-smoking school in Shanghai, a quality education experimental school in Shanghai, and a reform research base for curriculum materials in Shanghai.
