The structure and function of the computer control system of the heating furnace in the steel rolling mill of Anyang Iron and Steel Company were introduced. The situation and characteristics of applying the mathematical model to the control of the combustion process in the heating furnace were expounded. The real-time control results show that this system is feasible and has achieved satisfactory control effect.
