For the Chinese people, it is certainly of special significance in October this year. This is not only because the 38th anniversary of the birth of the People’s Republic will be celebrated in October, but more importantly, we will welcome a historic meeting - the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. This will be a general meeting to push forward the reform in an all-round way. It will discuss in depth how to further reform the economic structure and decide on how to proceed with the political structural reform. This means that the great cause of reform that affects the interests of every Chinese will move faster. China’s economic restructuring has been going on for more than eight years and the results are obvious to all. There are three articles in this issue, which reflect the different aspects.
