“The Bluest Eye” is the debut of African-American writer Tony Morrison. “The Bluest Eye” tells the story of the protagonist Peikla, a black girl’s life tragedy. It also shows the reader the narrator of the story and the healthy life of another, smaller, black girl. This article looks at different options for Pecora and Croodia under the whites culture. The two black girls are compared in two aspects. The article discusses the dilemmas faced by the two young girls and the different attitudes of the two black girls and their family members and family members towards the aesthetic standards of whites in a white-led culture. If the black people want to survive, then they should accept their own black nature, maintain close ties with their families and communities, and stick to their own values and beliefs.
