Poor students are currently a special group of undergraduates in colleges and universities in our country. With the reform of college student subsidy policy and the increasing enrollment of colleges and universities, the phenomenon of poor students and the corresponding mental health problems have become increasingly prominent, which has become one of the common concerns in society and universities. This article tries to make a comprehensive analysis of the current mental health status and causes of poor students in our hospital through empirical comparative investigation
