研究白蜡虫生物学特性,结果表明:该虫1年1代,主要危害女贞、小叶女贞,以受精雌成虫越冬,翌年3月上旬开始继续取食、生长,4月中、下旬为产卵盛期,产卵期10~13d,平均产卵9208±2788粒。白蜡虫雌成虫体重与产卵量(粒)的关系式为y=510.80+40080.44x(r=0.8956>r0.01=0.3377),5月中、下旬为若虫孵化期,6月上、中旬为若虫定叶、定杆期,10月上、中旬雄虫羽化与雌成虫交尾后死亡,受精雌成虫11月中旬停止取食开始越冬。白蜡虫自定叶盛期到定杆盛期为防治关键时期。
