公款吃喝是“公家人”嘴边的一大顽症,是滋生腐败的温床。它不仅使国家和人民的利益造成严重的浪费和巨大损失,而且在社会上造成了十分恶劣的影响。近几年,我国工农业经济形势不容乐观,加之去年又遭百年未遇的特大洪涝灾害,使厉行节约制止奢侈浪费再次成为国人的心声。各级政府及纪检监察部门对此几经治理,一度时期使公款吃喝现象有所收敛。但近来,此风又有所抬头,不过各自吃喝的方法不同,行踪更为隐密,场所更为诡蔽,档次更高。归纳起来正逐步呈现以下四种新动向。
