“思维风格”可以专指小说中人物,叙述者,隐含作者心理的独特语言体现,可以通过语言的语法,词汇方面的形式结构观察出来,因此可以作为一种叙事技巧应用于间接表征,服务于人物刻画。这一技巧要求小说中人物语言要符合人物的社会性特征和个性特征。在翻译小说时,译者要关注原作中体现人物社会性特征和个性特征的词汇,采用恰当的译语词汇将其再现,使译作人物语言同样符合人物的社会性特征和个性特征。
