豆科绿肥的主要功能,在于以共生固氮作用增加土壤——植物体系的氮,同时由于施入土壤大量有机物质,使土壤理化性质和生物活性得到改良.但此类作物的固氮效率往往受到土壤环境特别是土壤营养元素状况的制约,其中磷的影响尤为突出.在大面积种植利用草木栖绿肥的实践中,人们注意到,草木栖的生长发育常因土壤贫磷而受到限制,施用磷肥则可使这种绿肥的数量和质量得以提高.基于这一现实,并借鉴国内外农业化学工作者对于豆种植物以磷增氮问题的探讨,我们对二年生白花草木栖(Melilotus al-bus Desr.)绿肥的以磷增氮效应进行了试验研究.本文报导此项工作所获得的主要成果.
