在全国各族人民喜迎新中国60华诞的金秋时节,中国共产党第十七届中央委员会第四次全体会议胜利闭幕。这次全会听取和讨论了胡锦涛同志受中央政治局委托作的工作报告,审议通过了《中共中央关于加强和改进新形势下党的建设若干重大问题的决定》。党的十七届四中全会的召开,对于全面贯彻党的十七大精神,以邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导,深入贯彻落实科学发展观,有效应对国际金融危机冲击、保持经济平稳较快发展,夺取全面建设小康社会新胜利、开创中国特色社会主义事业新局面,具有重大而深远的意义。
