20世纪八九十年代,张艺谋不断在一系列国际电影节中斩获大奖,他在这一时期的影片创作成为英语世界学者关注和研究的焦点,英语学界的这一研究态势一直持续到21世纪的当下。本研究的形成与展开基于英语世界对张艺谋影片(尤其是20世纪八九十年代影片)研究的既有成果,试图在总结英语学界对张艺谋影片研究特色与方法的基础上,审视英语世界学者对张艺谋影片研究的差异性,并探寻产生差异的深层次原因,以期丰富、完善我们自身对张艺谋影片的认知与研究。
In the1980s and1990s, Zhang Yimou constantly won awards in a series of international film festivals. During this period, his filmmaking became the focus of attention and research of English-speaking scholars. The research situation of English learners lasted until the 21st century Now. The formation and development of this study is based on the existing achievements of the English-speaking world on the research of Zhang Yimou’s films (especially those of the 1980’s and 1990’s). Based on the summary of English studies on the features and methods of Zhang Yimou’s films, Zhang Yimou’s differences in the study of the film and explore the underlying causes of differences in order to enrich and improve our own cognition and research on Zhang Yimou’s films.
