全球铁路行业正经历着重要的变革和发展。高速铁路变得更加普遍,英国提出要建设第二条高速铁路的提案,很多欧洲国家正在扩展其高速铁路运输能力。高速铁路具有巨大的经济、社会和环境效益,尽管其前期投入成本很高,但对政府来说,却是一项明智的长期投资。然而高速铁路建设意味着要征服一些工程和技术上的挑战。不同于常见的移动通信系统,高速铁路移动通信涉及两个主要问题:首先列车是一个完全封闭的金属结构,信号很难穿透;其次列车是高速行驶。
The global railway industry is experiencing significant changes and developments. High-speed rail has become more prevalent, with Britain proposing a second high-speed rail project, and many European countries are expanding their capacity for high-speed rail transport. The high-speed railway has tremendous economic, social and environmental benefits. Although its initial investment cost is high, it is a wise long-term investment for the government. However, the construction of high-speed railway means to conquer some engineering and technical challenges. Different from common mobile communication system, high-speed railway mobile communication involves two main problems: First, the train is a completely closed metal structure, the signal is difficult to penetrate; followed by the train is driving at high speed.
