学务导师源于电大的辅导员(班主任),是江苏开放大学提供非学术性支持的主体。以常州开放大学为例,采用问卷调研与访谈方式,搜集学务导师和学员意见,发现团队建设、信息支持、学业支持、情感支持等方面均存在问题,学员归属感、信任感和满意度有待提升。积极完善学务工作相关制度,加强需求导向的支持能力建设,打造素质过硬的学务工作团队,以完善开放大学的支持服务体系。
