地处湖南湘西的《团结报》创刊于1952年。当年10月,毛泽东亲笔为《团结报》题写了报头,沿用至今已有63个年头。《团结报》所在的湘西少数民族地区,土家族、苗族、汉族等30余个民族、290余万各族人民杂居共处。在这样的民族地区,报人如何当?报纸如何办?《团结报》的经验又能给其它民族地区媒体提供哪些参考和借鉴?
The “Unity News” located in western Hunan Province was first published in 1952. In October of that year, Mao Zedong personally wrote a newspaper header for the “United Daily News”, which has been in use for 63 years. More than 30 ethnic groups, including Tujia, Miao and Han nationalities, in the ethnic minority areas where the “Unity Newspaper” is located are located inhabited by more than 2.9 million people of all nationalities. In such a minority area, what should be the newspaper’s reporter? How should the newspaper be handled? What can the “unity” experience provide to the media in other ethnic areas for reference?
