世纪之交的国际社会和中国社会,同处于大变动、大改革的时期。新情况、新问题层出不穷。研究新情况,解决新问题,是发展生产力的客观要求。工会是工人阶级的组织中心,在我国它是一个当权的、统治的、执政的阶级的组织。国家的国体是由这个阶级的意志和利益决定的,党的党性也是由这个阶级和利益决定的。利用世纪之交的历史机遇,把中国工会办好,无论是对发展我国的经济建设、推进我国的民主进程,还是对促进世界和平都有着十分重要的意义。
The international community and Chinese society at the turn of the century are in a time of great change and major reforms. New situations and new problems emerge incessantly. To study new situations and solve new problems is an objective requirement for the development of productive forces. The union is the center of organization of the working class, and in our country it is an organization in power, ruling and ruling class. The state’s state is determined by the will and interests of this class, and the Party’s party spirit is also determined by this class and its interests. Taking advantage of the historic opportunity at the turn of the century, it is of great significance for the Chinese trade unions to run well both in developing China’s economic construction, in promoting the democratic process in our country, and in promoting world peace.
