山药蔓温床越冬育秧,是在初霜前,采集薯蔓,利用温床使之安全越冬,翌春扩大繁殖秧苗,用于大田。这是一项山药育秧新技术。一、山药蔓温床越冬育秧推广情况及好处 1974年饶阳县大官亭大队,试验成功“山药蔓温床越冬育秧”的方法后,受到社员群众的欢迎。1975年全区建越冬育秧床2900个。1976年全区有11个县246个公社推广了这项新技术,共建越冬育秧床7,000多个。几年来的实践证明,山药蔓温床越冬育秧有以下几个好处:
