本文采取实证定量研究中的问卷法考察了云南西盟佤族自治县和沧源佤族自治县佤族中学生学习动机以及学习动机与英语成绩的关系。受试者为437名佤族中学生,主要根据Gardner/Lambert(1972)二语习得量表及原一川教授的少数民族学生英语学习调查问卷改编制成。利用SPSS统计软件对数据进行了描写性统计分析,以探索佤族学生学习英语的态度和动机类型——内部动机、外部动机、融合型动机、社会责任动机和家长鼓励动机。使用描写性统计分析了以上五种学习动机类型及其与性别、年级、学校所在地、英语成绩之间的差异,并采用皮尔逊相关系数分析了英语成绩与学习动机之间的关系。
This paper examines the relationship between learning motivation, learning motivation and English achievement of the Wa ethnic middle-aged students in Ximeng Wa Autonomous County and Canguan Wa Autonomous County, using the questionnaire method in empirical quantitative study. The subjects were 437 Wa middle school students, mainly based on the Gardner / Lambert (1972) SLA and the original Yichuan professor’s minority students’ English learning questionnaire adapted. Descriptive statistical analysis of the data was conducted using SPSS statistical software to explore the Wa students’ attitudes and motivations to learn English - internal motivation, external motivation, inclusive motivation, social responsibility motivation and parental encourage motivation. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the differences of the above five types of motivation and their differences in gender, grade, school location and English scores. Pearson correlation coefficient was used to analyze the relationship between English achievement and learning motivation.
