In late April, the tire industry held two consecutive meetings, namely the standard seminar on evaluation index system of cleaner production in tire industry held by China Rubber Industry Association and the seminar on new flue gas treatment technologies held by China National Chemical Rubber Corporation. The consistent theme of the conference shows that in the face of continuous resource and energy shortage and environmental pressure, China’s rubber tire industry has taken clean production and pollutant emission control to a new height. At the same time, achieving a low-carbon economy is not an overnight success
