肖板及外围地区是闽中“金三角”，矿点（床）众多。该区有利的成矿、控矿构造条件、麻源群变质岩以及燕山早期岩浆活动是金矿成矿的最重要因素，也是找矿的主要标志。金矿床以与燕山早期岩浆岩有关的岩浆热液型为主，矿化类型以构造蚀变岩型为主。肖板、龙门场、杨梅、徐州、岭头坪、葛坑是有利的找矿远景区，特别是火山拗陷区内的金矿点或小型金矿床集中区，应注意寻找盖层之下基底变质岩系中与肖坂类似的大、中型金矿床
Xiao board and the outer area is the “Golden Triangle” in Fujian, mining point (bed) many. The favorable mineralization and ore-controlling conditions, the Mayuan Group metamorphic rocks and the early Yanshanian magmatic activity are the most important factors for the gold mineralization and also the major indicator for prospecting. The gold deposits are dominated by the magmatic hydrothermal fluids associated with the early Yanshanian magmatic rocks and the mineralized types are dominated by altered rocks. Xiaopan, Longmenchang, Yangmei, Xuzhou, Lingtouping and Gekeng are favorable prospecting prospect areas, especially the gold deposits in the volcanic depression area or the concentrated area of small gold deposits. Care should be taken to find the basement under the cap rock Metamorphic rocks and Xiao Osaka similar to the large and medium-sized gold deposits
