全球一体化趋势下,英语作为一门通用语言,已经在世界各地得到了广泛普及。社会对人才的需求也不再局限于单纯的语言和专业知识,综合型、复合型人才受到了越来越多的青睐。为此,各院校纷纷开设了专门用途英语(ESP)教学,为社会输送更多复合型人才。但当前,我国ESP教学现状并不乐观,没有达到预期的目标和效果。文章以需求分析理论发展为背景,探讨在该理论下大学专门用途英语教学改革策略。
Under the trend of global integration, English as a common language has been widely popularized all over the world. Social demand for talent is no longer limited to a simple language and professional knowledge, comprehensive, compound talents have been more and more favored. To this end, colleges and universities have set up specialized English (ESP) teaching, for the community to send more compound talents. However, at present, the status quo of ESP teaching in our country is not optimistic and has not achieved the expected goal and effect. The article takes the theory of demand analysis as the background and discusses the reform strategy of college English for specialized purposes in this theory.
