今年九月九日,我从上海回北京,临上车的时候,得知海老已从黄山回来,可惜不巧,已值我登车北归了,否则我们在上海再度欢叙,共谈游黄佳话,该有多好! 我所以这样说,是有原因的。因为海老上黄山之前,就住在钓鱼台国宾馆。他几次写信给我,还给我画了画,我先后三次去看望他,他很健谈,精神极好。他看了我的画,大加称赞,并约我同作黄山之游,合作画画。但我因为俗事羁身,不能从他作汗漫游,实为遗憾。回来后,我为海老十上黄山的画展,题了三首诗写成卷子寄给他。诗云:
