张曙(1908-1938)原名张恩袭,安徽歙县人。1926年起,先后肄业于上海艺术大学与国立音乐院,曾经参加过“南国剧社”与左翼戏剧联盟等进步文艺团体。“八一三”后去武汉,在军事委员会政治部第三厅工作。1938年12月24日在桂林遭遇日军轰炸,不幸牺牲。周恩来同志在他追悼会的致辞中这样评价说,“张曙先生之可贵,在于和聂耳同为文化战线上的两员猛将”。
