Physiological researchers at Westminster University in London conducted an early trial of 42 volunteers. The saliva samples they provided for 2 days were tested 8 times a day, while the first daily saliva sample was collected immediately after waking up in the morning. The earliest of them was getting up at 5:20 am and the latest was 10:37. After testing found that half of the people who got up before 7:21 of the cortisol secretion was significantly higher than late-onset, but also maintained at high levels throughout the day. Cortisol is a hormone that is designed to deal with a drop in physical fitness when in bad mood. Based on this, the researchers continued to work on these early risers
