目前，台湾中央图书馆、故宫博物院、傅斯年图书馆、台湾大学总馆、师范大学总馆、东吴大学总馆、东海大学总馆及国防研究院，共收藏祖国古代科技图书３３５１种（包括同一种书的不同版本），其中有农业古籍８２３种（包括与农业有直接关系的古籍）。原本农业古籍为４２７种。在这些农业古籍中，宋本２６种，元本３４种，明本３５２种，清本３９５种，民国初本１２种，日本刊本３种，朝鲜刊本１种。其中有些原本、孤本及珍本，对研究我国古代农业科学技术，有重要的参考价值。
