2008年6月1日,是中华人民共和国人民检察院恢复重建三十周年纪念日。三十年前的这一天,最高人民检察院发布第一号文件,向世人宣布:“最高人民检察院于一九七八年六月一日开始办公。”从这一时刻起,人民检察事业在中国共产党的领导下,恢复重建,发展壮大,为巩固国家政权,打击犯罪,保护人民,惩治腐败,维护国家法制统一,发挥了重要作用,逐步形成了中国特色社会主义检察制度。
