文如其人是中国传统文艺理论的一个重要的命题,其理论源头可以直接追溯到孔子的《论语》,人与文的统一,做人与立言的统一,是我们自古而然的追求。但是,人与文,言与行在很多情况都具有不一致性。因此,文品与人品应该分开来看,不因人废言,也不因言废人。文与人都具有不同的独立价值,应该分开来看,而不应偏废其一。
The text is an important proposition of Chinese traditional literary theory. Its theoretical origins can be directly traced back to Confucius’ Analects of Confucius. The unification of man and man and the unification of man and man are the pursuit we have since ancient times. However, in many cases, humanity, language and practice have inconsistencies. Therefore, the article should be viewed separately from the character, not because of nonsense, nor because of words and deeds. Both texts and people have different independent values and should be viewed separately instead of being one of them.
