D.H.劳伦斯的《木摇马上的赢家》,讲述了一个渴求母爱的小男孩保罗,为了帮助母亲获得金钱和物质享受而在不断摇动木马的过程中丧失人性、丧失生命的悲剧。小说辛辣地讥讽了在物欲膨胀、金钱至上的社会环境里,资产阶级上层社会人性、灵魂的扭曲,以及产生这一悲剧的根源——资本主义现代工业文明。本文从作品中反映的人性异化谈起,分析了个人的自我异化、人与人之间关系的异化问题以及异化的根源。
D.H. Lawrence’s “Winner of Wooden Rickshaw” tells the story of a tragedy of loss of humanity and loss of life in the constant shaking of a horse by Paul, a young boy who craves maternal love to help her mother gain money and material enjoyment. The novel spicyly ridiculed the distortion of the human nature and soul of the bourgeois upper class and the root cause of the tragedy in the social environment in which materialism was exuberant and money-supremacy-capitalist modern industrial civilization. This article starts from the alienation of human nature reflected in the works, analyzes the individual alienation, the alienation of the relationship between people and the root of alienation.
