席勒认为,美育就是市美教育,也称美感教育。它是一种按照美的标准培养人的形象化的情感教育。我国近代著名教育家蔡元培晚:“美育背,应用美学理论于教育、以陶冶感情为目的者也。”美育能培养人的直观或想象力,这是创新型人才的基本素养。因此,我们必须重视美育。中学美育的内容包括:艺术教育,如美术、戏剧、音乐、舞蹈、书法、建筑、文学等;组织学生观察欣赏自然美;引导学生体验社会生活美和劳动美。这就要求美育需从这些领域人手,让学生在教学活动中感受美,提高审美水平和生活情趣。

This requires that aesthetic education needs personnel from these fields so that students can experience beauty in teaching activities and improve their aesthetic standards and lifestyle.
