由中国艺术研究院、中国世界民族文化交流促进会和北京绿佳文化交流有限公司共同主办的“文化艺术交流与文化产业国际研讨会” 2001年 4月 27日- 4月 29日在京举行。文化艺术交流与文化产业，是 21世纪经济全球化背景下东西方文化发展所共同面临的问题。文化艺术作为全人类共同的精神财富，迫切地需要在交流与对话中发展。我们如何看待中国传统文化对现代化的影响，如何看待经济与文化的关系，以及西方文化价值体系与东方文化相互碰撞与融合，尤其是在中国西部大开发和即将加入 WTO之际，如何面对发展的机遇和挑战，这些都将成为 21世纪中国文化艺术发展与文化产业研究的重要课题。
The International Symposium on Cultural Exchanges and Cultural Industries jointly sponsored by the China Academy of Art, China World Association for Nationalities and Cultural Exchanges and Beijing Lvjia Cultural Exchange Co., Ltd. was held in Beijing from April 27 to April 29, 2001. Cultural and artistic exchanges and cultural industries are issues common to the development of Eastern and Western cultures under the background of economic globalization in the 21st century. As the common spiritual wealth of all mankind, culture and the arts urgently need to develop in exchanges and dialogues. How do we view the influence of Chinese traditional culture on the modernization, how to view the relationship between economy and culture, and how the Western cultural value system and Oriental culture collide and merge with each other, especially how to face the development of China’s western development and imminent accession to the WTO? Opportunities and challenges, all of which will become an important topic in the study of the development of Chinese culture and arts and the study of the cultural industry in the 21st century.
