It has been demonstrated that a rapid increase in right atrial pressure (RAP) is a determinant of atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) secretion. The authors conducted the following research. The subjects were 8 moderate coronary heart disease patients (7 males and 1 females, aged 38 to 63 years, all patients with normal ventricular pressure and atrial pressure.
