1953年夏天,我的母亲朱敏从莫斯科列宁师范学院毕业后,立即返回祖国。不久,我在新中国的首都北京降生了。为了让母亲尽快投身教育事业,为刚刚摆脱战乱的人民共和国培养师资力量,外公朱德有意把我留在身边。从孩提时代时到“文革”初期,我便一直生活在中南海。在十多年的时间里,外公和刘少奇两家是邻居,不仅大人相敬如宾,孩子们也成了好朋友。
In the summer of 1953, my mother, Zhu Min, immediately returned to her motherland after graduating from Lenin Teachers College in Moscow. Soon I was born in Beijing, the capital of New China. In order to allow her mother to devote himself to education as soon as possible and to train teachers for the People’s Republic which has just emerged from the war, his grandfather Chu Teh intended me to stay with me. From childhood to “Cultural Revolution ” early, I have been living in Zhongnanhai. In more than a decade, my grandfather and Liu Shaoqi are two neighbors, not only adults, but also children.
