今天的艺术青年,认识肖惠祥的恐怕已经不多了。但在20多年前,肖惠祥和她的艺术却是驰名艺坛,誉满京师,尤其为许多艺术青年所称道。我还记得1980年前后,首都机场壁画出炉时的情形。作为改革开放的第一道视觉帏幕,机场壁画挣脱了多年政治题材的束缚,将形式探索放在首要位置,堪称中国新艺术的滥觞。而在这一组全新的系列壁画中,就有肖惠祥的《科学的春天》。《科学的春天》在当时至少有两点突破了时代的局限:其一是风格,肖惠祥以优美而流畅的线条在《科学的春天》中,与
Today’s art youth, Xiaohui Xiang, I am afraid there is not much.
