太行山上 1 一九三九年底,彦涵到太行山根据地已经整整一年了。自从去年十二月底到达太行以后,他曾几次调动过工作。刚到太行的时候,他和鲁艺木刻团的同志们一起,带着从延安带来的那二百多幅木刻,顶风冒雪,在沁县、长治一带搞巡回展览。展览结束后,他随木刻团一起调入新华日报社(华北版),为报纸刻报头和插图。半年后,八路军前总鲁艺学校成立,他又被调到艺校当美术教员。不论做什么,他都把它看成是整个战争的一部分,尽心尽责地去干好。他为自己在这一年里所做的工作而高兴。当然,做为一个木刻工作者,最让他感到高兴的是,木刻工作在这里相当的受欢迎。
The end of 1939 in the Taihang Mountains, Yan Han to Taihang Mountain base for a whole year. Since arriving at Taihang at the end of December last year, he has been mobilized on several occasions. At the time of Taihang, he and Luyi Woodcut Group comrades, together with more than two hundred pieces of woodcut brought from Yan’an, roamed the mountains and roving exhibitions in Qin County and Changzhi. After the exhibition, he was transferred to the Xinhua Daily (North China Edition) together with the Wood Carving Group to engrave the newspaper head and illustrations. Six months later, before the Eighth Route Army General Lu Arts School was established, he was transferred to Art School as an art teacher. Regardless of what he does, he sees it as a part of the whole war and does his best. He is happy for the work he has done during the year. Of course, what makes him most pleased as a woodcutter is that woodcut work is quite popular here.
