上海市延安中学经过几代人的努力,以“老老实实办事,呕心沥血育人”的办学精神,继承光荣传统,弘扬中华文化,在长期的教育追求中,形成了自己的办学特色,延安中学在继承中发展,在发展中创新,已成为名副其实的实验性示范性高中、全国绿色园学校、国际生态学校、全国文明单位。那么,如何塑造延安新人,让延安中学再上一个新台阶,是我们面对的一个新问题。对此,我们认为要建设校园文化,用文化育人。校园文化建设,校园文化的功能不是直接可以触摸到的,然而生活在校园之中的人时时、处处可以感受得到。我们首先想到:要促进师生员工科学文化素质和思想道德素质的不断提升。素质的提升,不完全来自课堂,课堂之外的活动,包括必要的社会实践、社会调查、社会公益活动和校园文化建设,是提升素质的重要渠道。学校的校容校貌,表现出一所学校整体精神的价值取向,是具有引导功能的教育资源。校园文化建设的终极目标就在于创建一种氛围,以陶冶学生的情操,构筑健康的人格,全面提高学生素质。
After several generations’ efforts, Yan’an Middle School in Shanghai has taken its motto of “doing things honestly, making painstaking efforts to educate people”, inheriting the glorious tradition and carrying forward Chinese culture. In the long-term pursuit of education, it has formed its own characteristics of running a school, Yan’an Middle School has been developing in inheritance and has been innovating in its development. It has become a veritable experiment demonstration high school, a national green school, an international ecological school and a civilized unit nationwide. So, how to shape new Yan’an, Yan’an Middle School to a new level, is a new problem we face. In this regard, we think that we should build a campus culture and educate people with culture. Campus culture, the function of campus culture is not directly accessible, but people living in the campus from time to time, you can feel everywhere. We first think: to promote the quality of science and culture of teachers and students and the continuous improvement of ideological and moral qualities. Quality improvement, not entirely from the classroom, activities outside the classroom, including the necessary social practice, social investigation, social welfare activities and the building of campus culture, is an important channel to enhance the quality. School appearances, showing the value of a school’s overall spiritual orientation, is a guide with educational resources. The ultimate goal of the construction of campus culture is to create an atmosphere to cultivate students sentiment, build a healthy personality, and comprehensively improve the quality of students.
