保证地质设计所需的岩心采取率,最大限度地提高台月效,是岩心钻探施工中的两项主要要求.控制一次提钻长度,以减少岩矿心在井内的磨损,通常是有效的措施之一.但是,减少回次进尺必然会增加单位进尺的提钻次数,从而增加辅助时间,降低台月效率,最终造成成本提高.因此,可利用一些岩层比较完整的有利条件,在岩矿心采取率能够保证的前提下,应尽可能加大一次提钻长度.如回次过长,则可能造成岩心阻塞(如金刚石地表钻),或钻头的切刃(如合金钻头)在回次中磨钝,或是多消耗钢粒(钢粒钻进),从而导致回次平均时效明显下降,反而降低台月效率.
