梨温高速公路广丰连接线西溪中桥原设计上部构造为3-13米空心板梁桥、下部构造为双柱式钻孔灌注桩墩台,桩径1400mm。2003年7月桩基钻孔时,发生塌孔现象。经设计、监理等单位专家认定,初步推断该桥桥基地质情况较为复杂,可能遇上溶洞或溶洞群。2003年8月,经有关地质勘探部门勘探,确定该桥桥址处于溶洞群。为减少桩基工程量,降低工程造价,该桥上部构造由3—13米空心板梁变更为2—20米预应
