本试验是在光检测器件PIN管的光敏面与光纤连接器插头之间加入一段短光纤——过渡光纤,将过渡光纤和PIN管封入连接器,制成新型的带光检测器件PIN管的活动连接器,它可以使PIN管达到密封的要求。由于光纤端面能充分接近光敏面,与原用玻璃窗密封相比,耦合效率大大提高,並可在光纤和光敏面之间注入匹配剂,以进一步提高耦合效率。同时适当地选择过渡光纤,可放宽连接器的制造精度,降低连接器的连接损耗。
